Writer Beginnings

I've been doing a lot of research and wanting to start a writing career as I found out that I need a website, a portfolio, something to get my name out there. I used to find that very hard to find clients and getting a start but with website builders like WIX, and with all the helpful videos out there, it wasn't that difficult and i think anyone could be a writer these days.
